(More customer reviews)I just finished a major home remodel on a home with a raised foundation with a wood floor. I had my electrican but in boxes in the floors in my living room and family room. I had the hardwood floors laid down and then ordered this product. I didn't use this product because it would have required me to make a router jib to remove about an 1/8 th inch of material around the opening to accomodate the brass face plate which has a lip inside that protrudes beyond the dimensions of the box itself. I found a similar product from another manufacturer that was $30.00 cheaper and provided a faceplate that fit tight to the floor without any additional routing/chiselling required. The brass finish also looked nicer.
