My Scottish Moss just arrived by way of the mail. It was carefully packed and got here in excellent condition. It looks just like the picture and I'm very pleased with it.
UPDATE:
Unfortunately, I didn't give it enough moisture, apparently, or it didn't like the soil, which is heavy clay. It basically dried up and blew away. I think it's too hot for it in my area of Zone 7. I may try again in a different season and see if that helps. When I do, I will take better care of it because it appears to be very fragile, at least until it gets established.

An extremely popular groundcover plant, this forms a very low moss-like carpet of bright neon-yellow foliage. Tiny little white flowers begin to appear in late spring. Excellent for filling in between the cracks of flagstone paving, in the rock garden as a lawn substitute. Dislikes both drought and soggy wet soils. Easily divided in early spring or fall, by ripping up the clump into smaller pieces. Evergreen.
