(More customer reviews)Maybe 3 1/2 stars. The stands have a nice finish and they seem pretty hefty. Filling the two fillable columns with sand is quite tricky, but I did manage to do it without too much mess. And while the bottom "spikes" are pointed, unless you want a large bore hole in your carpet, they are not real carpet spikes. They seem pretty good for the price - but not great.
