(More customer reviews)A couple of months after putting in new wood flooring, I bought some throw rugs for the walking path between rooms. Wanting to keep the rugs from sliding, and being concerned about off-gasing, I decided to purchase on Amazon a 4' x 6' Vantage Industries Eco-Grip Non Slip Rug Pad and cut it to the right sizes. I was happy that the pad did not have that awful smell that my room rug pad had. However, today when I lifted the rugs to try out the Bona damp "mop" pad instead of the dust mop pad, I saw that the eco-grip pads have left patterning on the wood! I tried scrubbing them when a damp paper towel, then tried a light spritz of the Bona hardwwod floor cleaner followed by the damp mop. It did not come off! I went to the Vantage Industries website and attempted to fill out their form and submit an inquiry as to how to get that residue off. Everytime I attempted to send it, there was an error. I called and spoke to customer service. The woman told me to email cs@vantageindustries.com to file a claim and sub,it photos. I incredulously asked if they were going to replace my new floor and the woman said no. She then asked a co-worker who told her to tell me to try Old English or lemon oil on it, or a little mayonnaise. I decided to try the Bona spray again, but saturate it more and let it sit awhile on the floor before scrubbing with a non-scratch dish sponge. This did the trick, but i will not use those Vantage Eco-Grip pads on my floor again.
