(More customer reviews)Beautiful garden stake! The balancer measure approximately 25 inches, and the dragonfly itself has a wingspan of 9 ½ inches and a length of 7 inches. This stake is extremely well made. The glass marble at the end of the balancer is 1 inch in diameter and is a shiny grey color. The dragonfly is decorated with ½ inch translucent color marbles; red for the eyes, 3 amber (not yellow) in the tail, two green on each side of the upper wings, and two green and one red on each side of the lower wings. The marbles are wrapped gracefully in the metal design and not just glued on. The metal is a soft, brushed brown and arrived without any nicks or scratches whatsoever. The balancer is extremely stable on the stake despite its size and weight. We had 30 mile/hr wind gusts the night this product arrived and the balancer just dipped, bobbed and twirled as it should. It never fell off the stake, nor did it ever move so out of control that it could have fallen off the stake. Even when there doesn't appear to be any wind, the balancer dips and spins ever so slightly giving the effect of subtle, perpetual motion. The stake is sturdy and easy to place in the ground. The product is very well packaged and the only assembly required is to place the butterfly on the end of the balancer and tighten the affixed screw (with the head of the dragonfly FACING the balancer). I think this stake looks whimsical without being juvenile or cartoon-like, is solid but graceful in all its motion, and just large enough to be noticed without overshadowing anything else in the garden.
