(More customer reviews)We're using these to line the carpet in the room where the cats' litterbox is (the room is carpeted - had to use spare bedroom as the utility room is too small). I wouldn't recommend as a solution for rolling items such as chairs because it's not that thick / rigid; but that's not what this item is for anyway. It stays in place pretty well and is a good size. Has a funky smell when you first receive it, but that dissipates after some time. Easy to clean.

(More customer reviews)Talked to the company in length for description. I was sure this was going to be the runner I needed over my carpeted stairs. I have small inside dogs and wanted something that would clean eaisly, but being in my entrance way, it would also have to look nice. This is a cheap piece of very, very, very, thin foam. The only thing I could use this for is a backing under an area rug. It is just too ugly to describe and it does not lay completely flat on stairs. There is always a place not sticking or wrinkled. Pretty expensive for just a days use for movers too. I suggest you run, not walk, away from this one. $50 down the drain.

I thought they will probably lose the smell after a couple hours or a day at the latest. Nope. The smell lasted for weeks until we took them up. They also would not stay on the stairs. They kept popping up and sliding off the stair. It became hazardous to walk down the stairs so we decided to take them up. Big waste of money.

When we decided to paint up our stairway, we needed something to protect the carpet. This worked great. We also used it to protect carpeting in my son's house while he was painting several rooms. He commented on how easy it was to use and how well it worked. We could even move the film from one area to another. It works much better than plastic drop cloths! I highly recommend this!
