(More customer reviews)My smallest cat is 10 pounds, and her smallest "kitten" at 9 years old is 20 pounds, the biggest is almost 24 pounds. I had a smaller version of this post by another company, and it was unusable by them -- not tall enough! This post, they can all stretch out and scratch without hunkering down, and they use it all the time. It has great stability, and gets knocked over very seldom. A great value.
The only caveat is, as they wear it down, the staples that hold the carpet on become exposed. you have to check it now and then and remove the staples so they don't fall on the floor and become a hazard to the cats.
