(More customer reviews)For some reason my builder talked me into putting plastic floor covers on and they looked bad and broke. SO I decided to replace them with the brass cover. I can't believe I never did it sooner. It was easy to install (I'm an engineer and love playing with this kind of stuff) and it is much more secure that the plastic covers. Also, the gasketing does a good job of adding insulation if there is an airspace difference between the surface and the box.
